Planetarium Shows

Tissue Engineering for Life
Initial movies were made in partnership with the Pittsburgh Tissue Engineering Initiative.

The centerpiece of the project will be a series of innovative planetarium shows - Regenerative Medicine: The Body Healing Itself.  Each show will bring together technology and the arts to communicate four specific elements of information:

  • the basic biology of the tissue or organ of interest,
  • what goes wrong with disease or trauma,
  • what is the basis of current medicine and
  • how will the body heals itself through regenerative medicine.
